Dejoron C. Campbell, MBA, PHR, CDP

Dejoron C. Campbell, MBA, PHR, CDPDejoron joined the National Diversity Council in August 2015, supporting the Georgia and NDC Carolinas Diversity Councils. She is responsible for planning and executing diversity workshops, leadership conferences, and college diversity summits. She also manages outreach efforts and corporate sponsorships. In addition, she oversees marketing and operations for the DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program, which prepares professionals in the D&I space.

Dejoron is a driven and prudent human resources professional that produces impactful results with experience in benefit and state regulatory programs, employee guidance and counseling, HR staff management, reporting and analytics, research and development, and project and event management.

Dejoron has more than eight years of human resources experience with Pitney Bowes, a fortune 500 company in the business services industry. Her first role was an HR Specialist, supporting all U.S. personnel inquiries and requests. Shortly after, she was promoted to an HRIS Specialist administering personnel data changes and ensuring data integrity. Lastly, she led a team of HR Administrators and HR Coordinators as an HR Supervisor.

Stemming from her passion about diversity and inclusion, Dejoron began serving as a volunteer with the Tri-State Diversity Council in 2013. She served as Event Chair for the 2015 New York Women in Leadership Symposium and coordinated various mixers. In 2015, she designed and launched her own website, labellepatron.com, to encourage and list development options for her peers and other young, urban and professional women.

Dejoron received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Alfred University in 2006 and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of New Haven in 2009. She received her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) in 2009 and CDP (Certified Diversity Professional) in 2016.
