Leon Fraser

Leon FraserLeon Fraser is an award-winning educator, a seasoned executive, and an effective executive coach.

He is Assistant Professor of Professional Practice at Rutgers Business School in Newark and New Brunswick, New Jersey. He teaches Executive Leadership; Managing Workforce Diversity; Management Consulting Best Practices; Leading Teams; and Corporate Strategy. He has won Best Professor Award by student vote, the Dean’s Award for Meritorious Service, and the university-wide Leader in Faculty Diversity Award.

Previously, he was an executive with Fortune 500 companies, was on the leadership team of a technology start-up, and was a Congressional aide on Capitol Hill in Washington. He currently takes management consultant assignments and uses his experience to help organizations diagnose underlying problems and refine their strategies.

He provides executive coach services through his firm AchieveAbility LLC. He helps individuals think through challenges and develop meaningful solutions. He won “Mentor of the Year” Award from the National Black MBA Association New Jersey Chapter.

His certifications include Certified Diversity Professional by the National Diversity Council;
Global Talent Management Leader by the Talent Management Institute; and Career Coach Certificate from the Rutgers Heldrich Center for Workforce Development.
