Yvette Hunsicker

Yvette HunsickerYvette Hunsicker leads Honda North America’s Office of Inclusion and Diversity (OID) that advocates key inclusion and diversity strategies across Honda’s North American companies.

In her role, Hunsicker leads the North American Diversity Steering Committee, a group of leaders from Honda’s U.S. sales, manufacturing, and research & development companies, who provide strategic guidance for Honda’s efforts in all areas of inclusion and diversity throughout its North American operations.

Hunsicker began her career at Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. in 1989 as a production associate in the Marysville Auto Plant Welding department. While in production, she also held positions at the Anna Engine Plant and the East Liberty Auto Plant, before joining the Human Resources team in 1994.

In 1999, Yvette accepted a position in Utsunomiya, Japan working in expatriate administration at Honda Motor Company’s New Model Center. While abroad, she founded The Buckeye Tutorial, an international program to support the educational needs of Honda expatriate children, grades K through 12.

Hunsicker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Urbana University and is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.

In the community, Yvette serves on the Columbus YWCA Board of Directors and the Hilliker Advisory Board in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Yvette resides in Bellefontaine, Ohio, with her husband Ryan, and children Ryan and Amari. In her free time, she enjoys her family and teaching various fitness classes.
